a. Served as an Assistant Development Engineer in their power Electronics
and Control Division of the Research and Development Department. In-charge
of Design and Development of Static Voltage Regulator for their 1.5 MW
Alternators.

CONSULTING ENGINEERS, BOMBAY (1973-1982)
a. Design and
Development of an Analog Simulator consisting of B.T.G. (Boiler Turbine
Generator) Board, A.O.P. (Auxiliary operators’ Panel) and Trainer’s
Console, for the unit no. 4 (150 MW) of Trombay Thermal Power Station
( Tata Electric Company) Trombay, Bombay. The Simulator on completion
was used by various State Electricity Boards for training their operations
Engineers and Operators. (1973-1975).
b. As Project Electrical Engineer for the 2.3 metre optical Telescope of Dr. M. K. Vainu Bappu Observatory at Kavalur, Tamil Nadu, belonging to the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore. Scope of work included design, erection supervision and commissioning of Thyristor DC drives, HT Sub-Station, DG Sets, Elevator, Battery and Battery Charger, panels, cabling, control room etc., (1975-1980).
c. As site in-charge (Electrical) for the 2X 200 MW Thermal Power Plants , Unit No. 12 & 13 of Obra Thermal Power Station UPSEB, Obra, Mirzapur District, U.P. Scope included erection and commissioning supervision of cabling (HT & LT), HT and LT Motors, Generator Transformers (250 MVA), Unit Auxiliary Transformers (15 MVA), Unit Service Transformers (1.5 MVA), Isolated Phase Busduct (15kA), HT Panels, LT Panels, 400 kV Switch Yard, 400kV ABCBs, Lighting, Grounding, etc. (1980 - 1982).

(3 Nos) & Hook-up Transformer (1no), 2 X 8.5 MVA, 33/6.6kV, HT Auxiliary
Transformers, 8X750 kW & 3X1000 kW HT motors, 2X2.0 MVA, 33/433kV,
